	Thursday, December 08, 2005 More Bad News on the Economy Bad news for the Democrats, that is: Economists have raised their forecasts for U.S. growth in the first half of 2006 to 3.6 percent, according to a survey conducted by the Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank. That compares with a forecast of 3.1 percent growth when the previous survey was taken six months ago, the Fed said.
