this article on the author of The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, The Right Stuff, and The Bonfire of the Vanities, where it was revealed that he's going to appear as himself in an episode of The Simpsons.
But what caught my eye was this:
He said the only honor that came close was when he appeared in a 1969 copy of Marvel Comics' "Dr. Strange" and uttered the line, "Don't worry, Doc, I won't hit you up for any free aspirin."Well, I found an electronic copy of that appearance and thought I'd post it here since it amounts to only two panels.
