	Thursday, October 13, 2005 Cactus Blogging Here's a terrific spiral cactus from my front yard: The flowers come out every 6 months or so and they only bloom for one night. I thought this one might bloom tonight, but it hasn't happened, so I'll be looking over the weekend. Within a day after blooming the flower turns completely black and shrivels up like Al Franken exposed to the truth, except that he doesn't turn black.
