Captain Ed notes the ineptitude of Airhead America's lies on this topic. The initial response was "we didn't get the money from the prior owners and don't intend to pay it back", but now, according to Al Franken, it's "we made arrangements to pay it back starting this month." I liked this bit from the Sun piece: Mr. Franken said that around the time of Air America's launch in March 2004, Mr. Cohen said the radio network could survive for three years without making a profit." It turned out to be three weeks," Mr. Franken said. "We were all shocked."
