Hero Cop in GeorgiaAnother
good story:
Marietta police Officer Andrew Phillips will receive the National Public Safety Medal of Valor today in Washington, the first officer from Georgia to receive the award.
President Bush is expected to present Phillips with the nation's highest accolade for bravery in a ceremony at the White House. This is the third year the Medal of Valor, created by the U.S. Justice Department to honor public safety workers who show exceptional courage in the line of duty, has been awarded. Can't seem to locate a photo online at this point, but I'll try again later.
