	Tuesday, March 22, 2005 Vernon Baker Update: Again Blogger seems to be losing this post for some reason. I wrote last week about Vernon Baker, the Congressional Medal of Honor Winner whose medical bills for an emergency brain surgery to remove a tumor, are not being paid by the VA or Medicare because he failed to turn in the necessary forms. I spoke with his neighbor, Marilyn Fletcher, who is handling fund-raising for the Bakers, and she has set up a bank account to defray the bills.
