	Thursday, March 03, 2005 Sound the Alarm! Kitty, with her usual genius for coming up with the absolutely apt picture, came up with this gem for the campaign against Gerry Adams: Now in order to understand how perfect this picture is for what we are doing, you have to know a little of the history of Northern Ireland. In the 1970s, the Royal Ulster Constabulary, the police of that country, often went on raids for IRA members. When the RUC appeared, the Catholic women would beat trash cans and blow whistles to warn the IRA. You can see a picture of a mural depicting this here. So this picture is absolutely marvelous.
